Evangelizing Europe
“The Christian missionary may preach the gospel to the poor naked heathen, but the spiritual heathen who populate Europe have as yet heard nothing of Christianity.”
— Carl Jung
“Revival is coming to Europe”
When the good news of Jesus started to spread, it went in all directions. But the main spread was west through Europe. Years of success and conversion trickled into years of reformation, warfare, and turmoil. Now, with all it’s history, we are left with a continent that is secular and post-Christian. There is hope for Europe and it’s many inhabitants. The time for the gospel to spread is now.
God`s call for us is clear, “Revival is coming to Europe.” We are blessed to be part of such a call. From it’s very roots, the gospel returns with power, where every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord.
This is not an easy call. Years of spiritual warfare make this a ground that needs to be claimed in Jesus’ name. So we are not going it alone. We covet your prayers and have teamed up with other ministries in Europe to make God known.
Europe has the fewest number of Evangelicals at 2.5% of the population. (Asia, at 3.5%, is the closest behind) - Operation World, 2019
Alpha in Europe
The gap between the protestant and catholic churches in Europe is wide but has diminished in recent years. Our heart is for every church to be one and to work together ecumenically. A great way to bridge the divide is by doing something in unity.
Greg has been in contact with Alpha Europe in an effort to meet with churches and have discussions about running Alpha together. Alpha is a great way to share God’s Kingdom and a great way to practice hospitality.
Eleviva | Empower Italy
Thomas Spiridigliozzi is a local in Vancouver with Italian heritage. He is part of Eleviva which means to ‘elevate life’. Eleviva has a mandate to assist high-potential national leaders in identifying, training and resourcing emerging leaders to establish new 'missional' churches in Italy. We hope to partner with them for events and church launches in Italy and throughout Europe.
The Ana Project: Moldova Missions
Gary and Alisa Bunning are long time friends originally from Nashville, TN. They have spent the last 8 years working with youth in Moldova. Their first experience in Moldova was in Dec. 2012 on a mission distributing boots. The first girl they sponsored was a young lady named Ana and thus the name "The Ana Project". The Bunnings’ work with partner, CERI (Children's Emergency Relief International). They specialize in discipleship through many activities with the young people in transitional care programs. This is used to build relationship that centers around Bible study and worship. They hope to open a intentional house of prayer and worship.
We are encouraged by their work and hope to run outreaches to aid them in their God-given vision.
